Helpful tips for utilizing the Mana ABA app

You've successfully downloaded the Mana ABA app from the app store of your choice. Now what?

Note that the programs are developmentally sequenced so one program must be mastered or "passed" before moving to the next. This will ensure your learner has mastered the prerequisite skills needed before moving on to the next game.
For some games, such as the first one where your learner must pay visual attention to the rabbit hopping across the screen, you must observe and click the green check mark if they did the task correctly, and click the red X if they did not. This allows the game to keep repeating the task until mastery. It also allows the analytics to be accurate so you have a sense of how many trials it took for your learner to grasp the skill to a level where it is a solid prerequisite for future games.
Some games, such as matching a color by dragging the colored item on the left to the same on the right, will be scored for you. If mastery isn't achieved quickly, additional trials will be added for practice.

Where can this app be downloaded?

Is the app compatible with cell phones?

No, the Mana ABA app is not designed for use with phones, it is designed for use with tablets: iPads and Android tablets.

Is the app only meant to be used with learners diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorders?

Although it is designed and tailored to meet the needs of those who benefit from errorless learning and repetition for learning, all children benefit from and learn from the games in Mana ABA.

Can multiple students use the same downloaded app?

No, the analytics are such that each player (student/child) needs their own account. Only one account per device.

Do I have to put in data on the sheets and graphs in the manual?

Data collection for the games that are not automatically tallied or counted for you in the app is optional.

Do I have to start in order from the first games?

It is suggested you proceed in order so you are sure your learner has mastered the prerequisite skills of visual regard, imitation, matching, etc.
